Privacy Policy

This is a translation for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.

This privacy policy informs you about the processing of personal data in connection with our website in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

1. Controller

Procon IT Security Solutions GmbH
Lerzenstrasse 21, 8953 Dietikon
E-Mail: procon@procon.ch

2. Processing of personal data

We process personal data that you actively provide to us – for example via the contact form (name, company, email address, telephone number, message). We use this data exclusively to handle your enquiry and to contact you.

3. Contact form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, your details are stored for the purpose of handling the enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

4. Server log files

When you visit our website, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested). This data serves technical security and smooth operation and is deleted after 30 days.

5. Cookies and web analytics

Our website does not use third-party tracking or web analytics services such as Google Analytics. No cookies are set for analytics or marketing purposes.

To determine general visitor numbers we operate our own analysis, running exclusively on our server. For each page view it records the page requested, the broad source (e.g. via a search engine or accessed directly), the device type and – roughly estimated from the network range of your internet address – the country. Your full IP address is not stored permanently; only a daily-changing identifier that cannot be traced back to you is kept, in order to recognise repeat visits on the same day. For the rough country estimate, the network range (not the full address) is transmitted once to the ip-api.com service. If "Do Not Track" is enabled in your browser, no data is recorded.

6. Hosting

Our website runs on our own server in Switzerland. The data arising in the course of operation is processed on that server.

7. Customer portal / support area

We provide a password-protected support area for registered customers. There we process the details you submit (name, email address, company and the content of your support requests) exclusively in order to handle your enquiries. Access credentials are issued by us; passwords are stored in hashed form only. The data is not passed on to third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process, and to have it corrected or deleted. Please contact us at the address given above.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
